I looked, but wasn't able to find anything. Is there any type of buyer/seller rating on this forum? I ask because I recently purchased a part from a member here and wanted to leave a positive rating for him.

Click on the "forums" button in the bar above. Scroll down to the bottom to the review section. There are three threads, one for dealings with board members, one for dealings with vendors, and one for product reviews.
