It was very nice meeting you today at the brothers truck show. You have a great looking original truck and have got alot done in just a few months.

I have a 72 12 bolt that I will likely never use. Is that 2.76/1 gear ratio common for those trucks or was it specific to the Saginaw transmission? I think the one I have was behind an automatic which I suspect will be a 3.11 or something lower.

I really don't know much about the 2.76/1 gears. I thought I was buying 3.07/1. You should start a thread, someone else would know.

Thanks. I've hauled several motorcycles, small refrigerators and been to Home Depot numerous times. I really love driving it.


My Burro is in storage, but it looks like this except it has two bench seats and the panels are raw aluminum:
