Re: shift knobs

I am just finishing up a world class T5 with a S10 tailshaft extension swap. I found an old polished door knob from our house in New Orleans. I tapped it and screwed it on. Looks and feels like SOLID GOLD!

Re: shift knobs

My interior while it was still under construction back in 1984.
The knob was just part of an oak tree branch from our backyard.

Re: shift knobs

Its on a different shifter now, but the knob is the same. Very similar in color to Marke's but mine is made by Epco, a maker of industrial knobs and stuff, they happen to make a few for hot rods etc, and can be bored to any size for no charge. \

Re: shift knobs

I like that piston. I have the standard lokar now but in the 4 spd nova I had an old Hurst white ball that I liked. So did the guy who helped me tow my truck so I gave it to him and he gave me an ancient Budweiser tap handle deal that he coverted to a shifter knob. It's pretty cool but I have it hanging up.
