Question 54 Question

Is it possible to replace a 54 front clip to 47-52 front clip witout a bunch of fab work? I'v found two 54's in nice "ratrod" shape but i like the 47-52 clips better, i'm new to 47-54 trucks..... thought i might find the answers here. thanks

Re: 54 Question

any front sheet metal from half ton to one ton 47.5 to 53 will fit, but you have to use everything.

Re: 54 Question

You shouldn't have any problem selling the '54 front ends. They are harder to come by. I used mine and my mom's grille to come up with one I could send away to chrome. About 4 months later they offered an over seas reproduction my mom will probably use. Mine will be all American steel though(if I ever get her done!). Get some pics up!
