I just have a few miles so far but it seems fine, maybe a little bouncy if that makes sense. I used the KYB gas adjust shocks in the hopes to provide a little more control, so more miles will let me know.

Yep, I think I'll end up doing a 2" drop spindle when I do the disc brake conversion with a 1" spacer out back.

Thanks! Gonna try and keep them, but my son might want something else when he starts driving. We'll just have to wait and see.

No real update as I'm collecting parts to swap the 2 barrel for a 4 barrel. I did take a pic of it the other day figured I'd share.

Re: New Daily Driver

I'm thinking about putting a rear sliding window in my truck. The rear glass is scratched pretty badly and if I'm going to replace it I may as well put a slider in it. Has anyone bought and installed one recently? Need a clue to who's building them and which one is the best quality. Let me know what you know.

Re: New Daily Driver

My slider is made by C R Laurance Automotive Products but I cant remember where I bought it ,may have been Southern Kentucky Classics as I bought a lot of my parts there but I also bought some from Classic Parts too.

Re: New Daily Driver

Looking into disc brake upgrades and I am interested in Performance On-Line (POL). From what I can see I can get a complete 4 wheel disc kit and add their pre-bent hardline kit to simplify the installation. I've considered using CPP's modular spindles to help with the front track but I figure I can adjust for that with control arm length or wheel back space. Does anyone have any experience with POL?

I don't have experience with POL directly, or with their brakes, but their gas tank I have from Brothers is nice.

I would recommend the CPP modular spindles and brake mounts (separate item) for more wheel lip options. They fit great on my 71 and I see about 1/2" per side. I didn't take measurements before and after, but it's close as I measured a few witness marks on the inner fenders from old setup to new. I ordered them from a board vendor, so no hassles dealing with CPP.

If you want pre bent line, Right Stuff Detailing (getdiscbrakes.com), classic tube and inline tube are good sources. I believe they all have regular steel and stainless to choose from. I went with Right Stuff stainless on mine. Fit great!

Were the brake lines you bought a direct fit to the master cylinder, or did you have to bend your own? Which vendor did you use?

Is the 73-87 slider the same? I have one that I got from Zack. LMK.
