Re: Mopar or no car?

I love Mopar, even more so than these old GM trucks. Had a number of them through the years. The one that got away was a 67 Dart GT with 273 2V.

Re: Mopar or no car?

My folks had a 66 Plymouth Fury3, 4 door hardtop, fender skirts, black exterior, blue interior, 383 and dual pipes all factory. Man that was a beauty and ran real good. Yeah, like a good son, I tested it periodically.

Re: Mopar or no car?

We had a '57 Coronet with a 325 something or other. I'll say "Something" Ram as a possible name for the engine. I do remember that I was with my dad the day he broke the speedo, which went to 130. All I knew at the age of 11 was that the trees on the side of the road were a blur, and the exhaust was roaring pretty good. I only know about the speedo breaking because after we got to my uncle's house, my dad was telling my uncle about it. Good luck on bias belted tires, is all I can say. Though I was running retreads on my '66 LeMans when I blew it up doing 140+ across the Nevada desert. Lucky to be alive, yup, yup.
