too many trucks

I now have:
68 C10 (short wide) driver/project
68 K20 (3/4 4x4) project
75 K5 (Blazer 3/4 4x4) plow truck
79 K10 (1/2 long 4x4) driver/project

just too many trucks!!!
It's time to cull the heard

I'm gonna get rid of a couple. That is a problem. I like them all

...Maybe my wife is right, maybe I should just sell everything and buy a new truck.

just kidding.
It is however, time to make some decisions.

Re: too many trucks

Since you CAN'T get rid of the 68 K20 (clearly the gem of the bunch), might as well keep the 68 C10 and confine yourself to a single era, you know, for maximum parts interchangeability And say adios to the squares. I've tried this before though and it didn't work, so good luck.

Re: too many trucks

You need to do what too much stuff does- identify at least (1) as the (wifes). I have (4) 71-72 trucks- you're normal

Re: too many trucks

No such thing as "too many trucks" !!!!!

67 Blue LWB (project)
68 White SWB (project)
71 Grey Long Stepper (daily driver)
2006 Silverado (Daily worker)
2001 GMC Sierra (Parts Getter)
76 Black Silverado (project)
3 x disk front/drum rear LWB chassis
2 x SWB chassis (both perfect!)
2001 GMC Sierra LWB (donor for LS swap into 68 SWB)

and I just cleaned out a couple of others that had served their purpose as donors.

Re: too many trucks

OH please don't do that.See i have a test for all new GM or ford or dodge truck owners.Lets drop a 350 long black on the back of the tail gate.if you can close it its a good truck to my 1965 3/4 ton

I rather have a old truck with a newer motor LS then buy a peace of plastic crap

Re: too many trucks

You're fine with four. I carved my corral down to two 67-72s and it's an uneasy feeling.

Re: too many trucks

No space here to have a fleet! If I had the space and money I'd be in trouble!
