whiny sm465
Just got done doing an sm465 swap in my blazer. Started it up to move it and it whines like an empty power steering pump. I did not check anything yet. I was just curious on what possabilities it could be besides oil low?

If it whines in all the gears except high (4th), it is probably the front drive brg. Of coarse the first thing to check is the lube in it. The front brg. can be checked & replaced without completely dissasembing the trans.
