Re: Grey glass

Here is the best picture I have of the gray glass.
I like it a lot. Results may vary depending on your truck color.
Only down side was it was difficult to get anyone to install glass that wasn't purchased through them. So my install quote was $300 and actual charge was $250.
I had the Stainless and rubber on the window and had it that way for a week.
That's the reason for the discount.

Re: Grey glass

I also used Auto City classics for all 6 pieces on my 66. It all fit great but I didn't like the spots and irregular patterns in the flat glass when in the sun.

The windshield also was hazy. I'm guessing it was the laminate causing that issue.

I used them again for my 69 Camaro. It had the factory green tint. All the glass fit great except for the windshield, which was PPG. The top width was too narrow. They immediately sent me another one. It was a little better but it didn't have enough curve at the top to match the body. It was a "no-name" brand that I can't recall. That's as far as they would go to help me.

Their glass is so cheap it makes me wonder if they use "seconds", if that's even possible.

That said, I will probably go with them again, sigh. I will get the clear glass and get them tinted and hope the windshield haziness won't happen again.
