1/2 & 3/4 ton 2wd
What are the differences between the 2(light duty not heavy)?
I know 3/4 has 6 lug wheels. I would think heaver springs and rear end. Is the frame bigger? Is the front suspension different? Thanks |

Re: 1/2 & 3/4 ton 2wd
i just tore up a old 91 c2500 and i daily drive a 1990. only difference i noticed is the rear springs have a few more packs in them. rear differential is bigger. SF 14bolt compared to the 10bolt in my half ton. front suspension and front brakes LOOKED the same.
my 1/2 ton has a 3.08 gear in the back where the 3/4ton has a 3.73 same transmission, same engine yeah and the 6 lug like you already knew |

Re: 1/2 & 3/4 ton 2wd
There are 6lug and 8lug 3/4tons. The 6lugs are basically 1/2tons, brakes wise at least. 8 lugs are more like 1tons brake wise.
