I got a little more ambitious today...thought I'd quickly pull out my grill to clean-up a few things, and boy, did that turn into a can of worms! The bright side after taking off much more than I thought I would have to, I can easily access my radiator core support body mounts that I received from GMC Pauls. Unfortunately, the Body Mount Kit is back-ordered!

Did my radiator core support frame cushions today...took a while but pretty straight forward. Side by side shows how compressed the upper cushions were. 20 years ago, the original owner must have taken the easy route as the bottom cushions appear to have been changed before, but not the uppers or bolts!

A bit of advice...if your radiator core support cushion set comes with square washers that look like these, don't use them. The square hole is a little bit too large and the carriage bolt shoulder spun inside of it. The hole in the original washer fit the shoulder of the new bolts perfectly. Also, the originals have the square hole "off-set" for a reason...which is to keep the entire washer from spinning around. I had both problems while I was assembling the first side ending up doing it 3 times. Use the original square washers to avoid this issue.

Not sure I drove mine in 2018 and definitely didn’t in ‘19 yet.. but, DW’s late model possibly blew a head gasket yesterday (radiator overflow can full of oil) so she’ll need to use my daily, which means the ol Sub gets duty. A little time on the charger and a couple dribbles of fuel down the carb and whammo! Running and not sounding too bad. Topped off the air pressure, evicted an army of spiders and started a basic pre trip inspection. We’ll know by tonight if it works out as well as hoped

The body is finally back on the frame! Best of all, I freed up space in my garage so I can park in there this winter.
Now I'll be back to metal work. Probably time to start a build thread...

Finally put new seatbelt in...six out of the nine being 3 point shoulder straps for the grandkids! The belts will be coming out again when I replace the carpet and have the original seats reupholstered...so I'll paint the brackets at that time...but for now, they're working great!

I never thought of mounting the retractors there. I haven't mounted mine yet.
I mounted the front one's to the lower part of the B-pillar

They mount to the floor between the "B-pillar" and inline with the seat back...but they appear to use a factory mounting point as the nut under the frame seems to be factory welded in (???in case someone ordered optional 3 points up front???). The retractors mounted with different amounts of difficulty depending on which row of seats I was working on...with the middle row being the hardest (shorter seat brackets)...but all in all, it was pretty straight forward.
