i used the cheapest sponge type brush and cheap plastic pans no need to cleanup just chuck em in the can

these type of brushes worked great for getting in all the little nooks and crannies

por 15 2 coats complete took about 1.5 qts

my next step was applying a perma tex brand rubberized undercoat to the frame i think it turned out awsome looking had a freind use it on his project and it still looks great 5 years old i hope it last as well on mine. I did 2 coats of that as well it goes on easy although it is a bit messy with overspray cover anything around that you dont want it on

24x24 with 10 foot walls and bunus room trusses lots of storage upstairs.
of course i wish i had built it bigger but so far i havent run out of room. i move my 4 wheeler and lawn moweres out when im home and park them in the shop when im gone for a couple months

I spent a bunch of time with my local tire shop mechanic trying to figure out lift options and got absolutly nowhere except a free set of rear leaf springs that are heavy duty and almost new. Probably wont even use them. All i want to be able to do is stick some 33s on the truck with no rubbing or bumping.

My goal was to have the wheels and tires under the frame by the end of the year but my fishing season is going really slow right now probably wont even be back to montana till mid november which happens to be rt in the middle of bird hunting. so not being sure how im going to work out the suspension and running short on time might not get to it till spring.
Maybe some of you guys have some input on the suspesion stuff?

The original springs will provide plenty of lift to clear 33" tires.

Thanks Cap i kinda thought that was the case just wasnt sure. After a bunch of looking and searching to find that they just dont have squat for lift options for these trucks i had just about figured i woiuld just put smaller tires on it. If you say 33s will fit im happy.
Also i need to get one of your powere steering brackets. And the break booster that i have came from a 73 k10 will your booster adapter work with that or should i just plan on drilling and mounting without the adapter?

No the square body boosters are NOT compatible with any of my booster brackets. Those have the factory mounting brackets riveted to them. If you must use that booster you will have to drill holes. Just be aware that in doing so, it really is not installed correctly.

What booster do i need then its a ways down the road yet but i can keep an eye out for the right one if i knew what i was looking for.
Also can you send me whatever payment info you have for your steeing bracket i know for sure i need one of those soon thanks

Any of you guys that may live around the Gallatin Valley Mt im going to be getting rid of some stuff free to a good home 64 k10 front end and rearend also have some rear leafs heavy duty that are like new anyway just throwing it out there. If you are local you know how bad our junk yard sucks ive got more stuff in my back yard than they do

i think i was planning to use the ujoint type set up get rid of the rag joint kinda like how Attote did his 64 k10 with your steering adapter.

Moscow, you're sure giving that thing the treatment. Was the undercoat on the frame meant to protect it from chipping? Looks nice. Are going to scrape it off where things bolt to it?
