I knew Robert would help you figure it out I was Leaning more towards a problem with your material Or the application of it. Why don’t you just hit the whole fender with some 320 to get rid of your big scratches and reshoot you’re problem areas, then go with your high build Inside your recoat window, don’t see any reason to keeps sanding but do like Robert Recommended for sanding when you get to your high build

always learning from you guys... if this was mine I would THOROUGHLY sand with 220 mix up some spi epoxy only in appropriate temperatures. and put 2 coats on let sit over night and move to high build
