Re: You dont need corner windows!

Don't get the whole "Rat Rod" movement. He could have saved a lot of money and time by just pouring a few gallons of gas on it and burning it to the ground.

Just an opinion folks, we all have them don't beat me up.

So here I am researching heaters for my truck and the answer is so simple, just run the exuast through the cab. Dam, it's brilliant

And I thought I would have a exhaust resonance issue.

Re: You dont need corner windows!

I'm not a big fan, but I've seen a couple that sort of appeal to me. That one is one of 'em(less the grille)and there's another one, a 61-66 built similarly.

Re: You dont need corner windows!

I never could understand the whole "rat rod" or fake "patina" thing. Always seems to me like marrying Valerie Bertinelli, then knocking out a few of her teeth, shaving her head, adding fake zits with makeup and making her wear a fat suit. However, I don't diss those that like it, to each their own. As long as what they have makes them happy, I'm all for it, just not for me.

Re: You dont need corner windows!

Low miles on that one because it was too hot inside and the driver developed a distinct hearing loss.

It's well known that I am not a fan of rat rods or rusty "patina" rigs" and have a standing personal rule of not taking photos of rat rods or posting them if I do but I did take this one at the Yakima Vintiques show last year.

Very spendy engine and pretty decent work negates the "I built it because I didn't have any money to spend on a fancy one" nonsense.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
