Perfect core support

I have a very nice core support that was sandblasted and has no rust. It is currently in bare metal. What's it worth as is? Also what is it worth powder coated satin black? Thanks guys

Re: Perfect core support

$100-150. with powdercoat I'd figure add 80% of the cost to coat, which wouldn't be worth it, and you would limit your potential buyers quite a bit (cheapskates like me would rather use a cheaper coating)

Re: Perfect core support

Once you paint or powder coat something the buyer pool goes down in my opinion. Bare metal gets you buyers from both camps. Like the 5x5 wheels that are here in the WIW. I kind of like them, but I don't like powder coated wheels.

If you have a place that does your powder coating for a reasonable price maybe you could offer the support for X, but for X more you could sell it to them with the powder coat color of their choice.
