american autowire

came across a wiring kit (#510006 BUILDER 19 SERIES) from american autowire at a good price, just wondering if anyone has used them before, and had any kind of yay's or nay's on using their product.

Thanks!
kyle.

Re: american autowire

Excellent product. Directions are clear. I have installed enough of there kits that directions arent needed but I definately prefer them over painless wiring. Im a big fan of the highway series kits and would choose that series over the kit you picked based of the fuse block design and the fact that the highway series kit will allow you to put the fuse block where ever you want and also hide your wiring a lot more easily. It comes with plenty of extra wire to run it anywhere. They will also custom build a harness and fuse block to exactly fit your needs.

Re: american autowire

Its not a bad kit by any means just dont expect plug and play. Most of the connections will need to be made by you. You will have to terminate the wires yourself and put each wire into the plastic connector. Its time consuming but that kill will allow you to hide the wires especially the ones to the front of the truck. Meaning you can tuck them away out of sight for a clean look. Its not there top end kit but as far as I know they dont make any junk.
