brake proportioning valve reset tool
Does anyone know where I can buy the valve deppresor tool for the brake proportioning valve as described in the repair manuals. The stealer does not sell tools.
Or is there another way of depressing the valve without the tool? |

Hydraulic pressure of a normal system will center the valve. Verify ALL air is removed from the system, check pressure output from the master cylinder also. If these things are ok there is more than likely sludge build up in the valve causing it to stick.

Re: brake proportioning valve reset tool
I know this is a very old thread, but anyone reading this can use a C-Clamp to depress the pin or in my case I used a pair of needle nose Vice Grips to hold it in during bleeding. G.
