Front Ring and Pinion

Ive been looking for front ring and pinion to match me rear end ratio. ive scoured the internet to find this answer but i couldnt so id thought id ask away. I have a GM 10 Bolt front the 8.5 front. I also found there is the same axle but in rear end form...??? do i have to find a specific front end ring and gear or is it all the same. thanks guys.

I know that an 85 blazer has the same exact gears front and rear.

Ring & pinion are the same, as are the carrier itself.
The difference you need to watch out for is the spline count on the axles.
My 84 has 28 spline front axles and if memory serves right, the rear axle has 31 spline axles.
The front axles can have either 28 or 31, so the spider gears have to match that.
