What's the furry thing just above the RH rear corner of the cab? Either a bear off in the distance, or a person's head?

Lol
That's my youngest sons head, he had his waders on to check the water depth.
He walked across and hopped in the bed as I crossed back.
Both of our dogs were back there also, but you can't see them in the pic.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I know these aren't pictures, but I finally got the renderings done so I can start getting quotes for paint...

Ryan at SIN Customs did great! Note the audio component panels ghosted into the rear seat...

The audio stuff is almost done at the upholsterer do I should have that done this coming week!

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Thanks...does pretty good in the mud as long as you have some space. It's long & wide enough that you can generally find traction but it could use lockers and a high steer kit. They are next on the to-do list.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Finally put the new box on! Coming soon...red neck 3 color paint scheme once I find a decent set of rear doors, might be 4 if the doors aren't matching!

Thanks, when i got the truck the factory seats were trashed and i picked these up cheap so i had to get them mounted in a hurry. That being said this winter im going to go back in and weld in blazer floor pans to flatten the floor under the front seats.
Front mount before the plate got welded to the cut down factory bracket

Seats on the plate for test fit.

You can see how high they sit. Thats why i have to lower the floor.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

looks good , what did the seats come out of? also could you shorten the factory seat mounts instead of cutting floor out? just seems like alot of work.

They are out of a 2004 Chevy 1500 extended cab. I would have cut down the seat mounts some but there is not hardly anything to remove. The truck they came from had a almost flat floor so they were designed to be taller.
