The notch is where the bag mounts, its actually just in front of the axle.

Ahhhhh . . ..... I should have looked closer @ the pic. Notched to maintain the same ride height @ a slightly higher air pressure for a better ride?

Alright so I FINALLY got my rearend back together and back under the frame. Installed the new urethane bushings in my "custom"
 panhard bar. I installed the front brakes with the new drilled rotors. Its starting to feel like I am making some progress again, but im sure that wont last long.

I finally got the body back on the frame.
I wanted to coat the bottom of the tub with something that would seal everything and kind of deaden everything a little. I ended up going with Raptor Liner spray in bed liner material. It is a urethane based spray on, I guess time will tell how well it works. It seems nice, I am contemplating coating the inside of the tub as well. The frame is coated with POR 15, the bottom of the tub is bedliner, and it has new poly body mounts, so hopefully it will last a while. You can also see some progress on the firewall in these pics. I made a little more progress. I got the front power steering box and centerlink all installed(it much easier to push around the shop now..lol) I also got the motor mounts and tranny crossmember fabbed up.
I know, I know,.......... I will get some new pics. |

Bagged- Got a few questions for you:
- How big is your step notch? standard 8"? Are you using all of it? - I see you have 4x4s on the axle to roll around; how close is the pinch weld from touching the ground if you pull them out and dump the front? - How high does the notch protrude into the bed area?
