Re: 2003 silverado flashes "cleaned" on radio screen !

My 98 Buick does this, CONSTANTLY. I think it is because the the little trip that senses you have put a CD in the player is broken. Causing it to think you have inserted a CD then when it finds there is no disc in the player it thinks it is a cleaner and the tried to eject it. This is what I think mine is doing...

Does yours should like it is sucking in and then pushing out a CD while it is being cleaned?

Curious to know where your idea of No. Calif. is? Lol. So many people have so many interpretations of what is considered NORTHERN these days, it cracks me up. I am 75 miles as the crow flies south of Oregon, 100 miles over asphalt.

I am very familiar with Pacifica... lol I lived there for a few months, twice while on one of my nomadic missions 15 years ago. along with nearly every other city/town in the bay area.. lol

Re: 2003 silverado flashes "cleaned" on radio screen !

just a dumb question...

do you have any performance chips or any OBDII things installed?

i only ask because my radio started doing some funny $#!T last night. I was playing with my OBDII Bluetooth dongle thing (you know, for like android torque program) and while trying to get it to pair to my phone, the radio clock reset to 1:00 and the source changed to CD and then right back to radio. weird, i didnt know that i could set the radio time or any features thru the OBDII port.

i think my bluetooth OBDII thing is busted. lol
