Funny White Wire
I cannot pin point this one down unless I trace it back to a point of origin. I have looked in the wiring diagrams yet to no luck I do not see it anywhere unless I am that old and no one told me I was blind.
What really puzzles me is the brown thingy and its function? Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Thanks! |

There is an 18 gauge white wire in the dome light connector with an orange wire. It is the ground for the dome light and would run to the door switches and to the headlight switch and to the dome light socket.
The brown thing is just a holding clamp for the white wire. The pin on the backside plugs into a hole near the fuse box.

It may tie into why my gas gauge is not working properly. About that time when my gauge went out when I was poking around the fuse panel. |
