broke it

.
I broke it. Took the truck for a cruise the other day and found my A/C was not blowing cold. Some investigation later found a loose connection on the condenser. Pulled a vacuum for an hour and that held overnight. Went to let in some 134a and ended up cranking the can down too tight for my charge/vacuum hose...

Anybody know where I can find another one of these hoses? This is the middle hose on my A/C manifold gauge set that connects to either vacuum pump or freon source.

Thanks! That helps with my search terms. Trying to find something available locally. So far only finding complete manifold sets

Harbor freight has one for 60 bucks but its components are probably just as cheap as the one I've broken!

I have the Harbor Freight set. I'm not too impressed with it.

I've ordered the Amazon 14 dollar replacement hose... with free shipping it's not a bad deal at all.

Re: broke it

The yellow charge line arrived and is working as expected. Today we had a 92 degree day so I charged up the system to around 50/240 psi and measured 41* at the center vent. That was at ~700rpm idle.

I'm happy with that.

Thumbs up Re: broke it

I'm glad it worked out.
