73 BBC SWB, just picked it up yesterday

Ha. It looks good though. I understand what you mean by PIO. The PIO i bought mine from cut the front springs. Then heated the rear leaf spring and made some home made shakels by cutting the stock ones in half and added a couple of inches. Needless to say its a weird feeling when it gets up to around 55. I bought a kit from DJM last week, Hope to get it on this weekend.

live, sweet ride especially the fat block. I'm not a black wheel guy, but i know it's the current rage. you just don't find any 73-80's around here that are truly sweet anymore. OK maybe 2 in the whole state. Lol. crossy

Nice! When you can, can you snap a pic of the front end head-on please? I have the rad support and everything off a 91 Burb, I'm just trying to decide if I want to leave Fred a GMC or make it a Chevy. sorry, that's as good as it gets with my camera.
usually it distorts ,BAD, any bar type where the bars are close together, .. I'm surprised this angle shot came out THIS good .

If you leave it stock Bob I like the Chevrolet grill better on the 89-91's. If you do a billet insert like Crossy's then the GMC looks pretty good.

Its more charcoal, but does look brownish in the light

mine is what i like to call abunchocolors. you can pic it up at just about any paint supply store. no seriously, its a work in progress. it was rootbeer brown, but i started doing paint and body work. so you know, primer here and there.

What can I say, but WOW! Great looking truck. The guy who owns this one has done a really awesome job from what you can tell in the picture.

Hill's did my truck, from my info. too bad the IPO owned it for 3 years and nearly destroyed all the good work. I'm glad to see he(jason) is still into square bodies, MAYBE someday I'll just call him and order a Red/White one done like the yellow/white one. While I'm out there to pick it up(yeah right) I'll find the IPO of my truck and kick him in the nads. crossy

Hill's teamed up with LMC and one of the truck magazines to do it. They had several write ups of the progression to what it is now....here is a link to the build gallery

I like that yellow truck, but I think I would have done more to the interior. That's the only thing I could come up with to be negative

yes! pics do NOT do this truck justioce, it is immaculate inside and out! its not too overdone, and i love the bench turn into split with a centerconsole, i think it could use bigger wheels but none the less fav truck of the show!
