Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

This truck is starting to haunt me.... Somebody buy it before I give in!!! I told my wife it is the ultimate Grandpa truck. Reminds me of the trucks my Grandpa drove that were always tricked out with hood ornaments and bug shields and all the other little JC Whitney trinkets. The seller is a man of very few words that insists it is a C10, but it has 8 lug wheels so who knows what it actually is. Looks like it would clean up well (minus some of the 'bling')! My favorite part is the Swan Hood Ornament listed in the features!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

a couple of Cheyenne Supers. I'm PARTICULARLY fond of the white/orange Longhorn big block! As for the white one, I couldn't tell if the interior was faded black or olive (look at the carpet). If white ext with olive int, that's a killer combo!
White 72 Cheyenne Super with trans issues $2400
https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/5428671358.html
White/Orange 72 Cheyenne Super Longhorn with 402, etc $6000 (LOVE this truck, but no room, time, money... Would make a GREAT resto project.)

I an NOT a c50 lover, but holy cow, that thing is beyond clean. If it just wasn't for that pesky connecting rod... For 2500 and a quick 292 rebuild, one would have a sweet HD work truck.

I don't know how to embed the links, but this seems like a decent deal for someone looking for a longhorn. 1968 CST with factory BB and Tach

Did you notice anything more unusual than that combo?

Its there, the RPO code, just the description isn't.
Both Longhorn 20s and 396 trucks received Dana 60 axles. Posi is just a bonus. But there is more to be seen on that SPID.

A/c is aftermarket, marker lights are on the spid. I don't think you could get the dana 60 in a 1/2 ton.
