Rear coil springs

Are the rear coil springs for a Suburban any stiffer than ones for a truck? Also, I'm planning on doing a 2/4 drop, do I need special shocks or will stock ones work? Thanks.

I do believe the rear springs are the same. You might get away with stock shocks on the 2" part, but you will definately need different shocks, and/or shock relocators for the 4 " drop in the rear.
