Chevy Truck History Ad

The only issues I have with it is that some of the gates would not stay up without the chains being put on. But cool to see them still.

I liked it. Love those stepside tailgates.

Our first truck was a 69 GMC stepper. Naturally it had the chains on the gate.

Our next truck was a '75 fleetside.

As a kid I remember thinking "wow - they've come a long way in tailgate latching technology in the last 6 years!"

Yep, I noticed that as well, I would like to think they tried to make the latching fit in, but they probably could not make it look smooth.......
