Restored cupholder console

Completely disassembled, cleaned and blasted with walnut shells to remove debris and loose paint. Painted with SEM Landau Black.
Real nice chrome trim ring. Latch works as it should firmly holding lid.
I have a GMC emblem too, no charge to exchange the emblem.
$425 shipped.

I’m still a little fuzzy on consoles...they came with different holes to hole the seat belts correct? And what did you Have to do to get cup holders in that?

Seat belt holder consoles are correct for 69-72. They continued till 76 or so, when full one pice seatbelts became standard. Cupholder consoles were produced for the newer seat belts. Cupholders were not an option just a later design change.

I bought the stock cupholder on this forum and installed it in a seat belt holder console. You have to cut the seatbelt holders out to fit it. This is the first time I have done it and it turned out nice.

Re: Restored cupholder console

GM also made a seatbelt holder accessory that you can attach to the front of a cup holder console, which is what I plan to use. Best of both worlds I’m thinking.
You have a nice console here, Randy!

Re: Restored cupholder console

Newbie here - how does this thing mount? On bench or is it meant for buckets? Or does it sit on floor? Tried finding pix with it in place and came up empty.

Randy,
If you sell this center console with the Chevrolet emblem, is the GMC emblem shown available for purchase. Thanks, Terry

Re: Restored cupholder console

Thanks Randy. I have an extra Chevrolet emblem. Need a GMC emblem. Are you interested in a trade. I would think the Chevrolet one is in greater demand.
