Kevin I found this. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/489596. They were Avalanche taillights. Not my first choice,... but different.

Has there been any updates on that rig? If I recall I used to see posting on the board about it, but I haven't for a while. Except I thought it was blue....

Here's a different idea from a very nice GMC Suburban - tail lights are off a Hummer.

while on this topic, does anyone have a picture to share of a suburban with the regular truck-blazer type tail/back-up lights w/tail bezel grafted in?

That one was from 'former' member GhetoCruzer, aka LoMad, aka SoMad
He was, in fact, banned. (Not sure why) He lives in Central Mississippi.
He also installed a 1950-something dash and a 67-68 hood.

After we get the entire truck painted red, then we'll tape it off and put the white on.

Kevin just come out and say it; You hate the Suburban tail lights... We know you do. That Hummer one is different but to date I still think Rob's are the best looking upgrade. Here's another nice pair:

...and here's what I'm planning; a modified version of Rob's. I'll probably go with those billet trimmed lights since I won't be able to use stock bezels:

Re: Who has that one tail light pic saved??

There is a write up in the FAQ on how to do it if I remember correctly. However it very hard and not for the faint of heart. It takes much welding skill and patience.

Bringing this back from the dead.

What lights are these? Who is Rob? I am looking for lights for my dually burb project. Im leaning toward my Smoked H2 LED lights but these in the picture are nice. Wish I could see them in color.
