How much does a 67 panel weigh

Well as far as I know it's pretty much a plan jane. 2WD, 6cyl, not sure if it's a tree or four speed, wood floor, barn doors, buckets and I know this won't help but not sure for now if it's a 10 20 30. I'm thinking of trailering it home. Thanks Nick

TTT from the dead, I searched this too and this post is the best I could come up with. A few guys have put there pickups on scales, but no actual scale weights for a panel truck or even suburban.

According to the link above, my burb is 3,815 lbs. When I went to the dump and scaled it with me, a near full tank and about 100 lbs of dumping material it weighed over 5000 lbs.

Re: How much does a 67 panel weigh

I'd love to get it under 4000#. I've seen that link before too, not sure how they came up with those weights. They do look low, anybody else?

I guess I could drive mine through the local elevator scales tomorrow. It has an LS1/4l60e all aluminum combo but it should be close....

I drove mine over the scales at the elevator. (again) I did it a few days ago but by the time I got home I forgot what it was. Since then my furnace decided to quit on me so I have been working on that, and I fell and cracked a rib last Monday during our first snow storm.. I don't forget how to drive in snow but I forget how to walk. Story of my life....

Anyways, the Panel weighed 4,320#. I was in it (165#) and I do have probably a 100 pounds of tools in the back.....

Do you have any interior in it? All I have is some insulation. I don't know how much less the aluminum block LS1 is than the cast block engines but it has to make a little difference....
