Re: check engine lamp

i was just nervy of using flammable sprays read few horror stories online fingers being blown off, eye brows scorched to even carb cleaner cans exploding etc..kinda put me off doing this, as am a rookie when it comes to engines.

so i asked if soapy water method also works seems safer, never knew wd40 works but ain't that flammable?

Re: check engine lamp

ok guys did the basic test light soapy water works as well, it's the TBI base drivers side gasket rot. i could hear the water was being sucked right in.

apparently these trucks are notorious for tbi gasket rot if not kept clean on a regular basis with carb clean every few months.

thx to all of yous who did help us out here.
