Production Numbers on Blazers Especially 2 Wheel Drive

Does anyone happen to know the production numbers on our blazers, Im just curious. I have a 72 two wheel drive with tilt,a/c,posi,and sb 327.Kinda wondering how many were built?

I had previously thought that only 72 had 2wd, but I guess there were some as early as '70

Seams accurate with the 2wd blazer numbers. But have you found anything since you posted this about Jimmys numbers?

No records exist for the jimmy numbers, at least that I am aware of.

Could one assume that the GMC #'s would be a percentage (10-15%?) of the Blazer's (Chevrolet) or would the GMC #'s be in addition to the Blazer's?

Records exsist for Canadian sold trucks. Doesn’t help much for the US I know but it gives a bit of an idea

Here are some of the numbers I have obtained

70 2wd 6cyl Blazer 10
71 4wd 8cyl Blazer 277
72 2wd 6cyl Jimmy 72
72 2wd 8cyl Jimmy 112

There’s a book that gives percentages of different options and packages but I believe it covers the whole model year and doesn’t break it down to Blazers, Burb, pickup etc

Not sure on jimmy percentages, but the word used to be they were produced about 3:1, Blazers to jimmys.
