With a gas tank on you'd be scraping it on the ground. Any plans to tuck the gas tank any deeper under the truck? Looks good by the way.

Thanks for the kind words! It's coming along slowly. No work/life balance gets in the way.

Re: Granny smith, 71 2wd build

It has a perfect Stance. Looked much lower from the frame pic. Low but not so low you grind the frame on speed bumps. But then drop to ground to park. Cool.

Thanks, yes it will go down another 2-3". I need to put some smaller tires in the front. These pics are with 40psi in the front and 20 in the rear.

Truck is looking awesome! I have been seriously considering bagging my 72,2wd. And you are just helping make the decision easier.

Re: Granny smith, 71 2wd build

No recent progress, just been cruising it and ordering parts. Even at the much lower ride height the bags ride better than the old springs. There is a sweet spot though. If I ride around with it too low, it develops a vibration. I'm guessing shaft angle.

Re: Granny smith, 71 2wd build

Driveshaft angles are probably just as fun dropped as it Is on a lifted truck. Just watch the slipshaft isn't bottoming out. That can kill the tait shaft on the trans.
