Hi
I'd like to install power windows in my 79' C10. The truck don't have factory power windows
Could you tell me the best way?

I have had both factory and aftermarket. I once thought that aftermarket was better until I had a set. Now I feel that factory is your best choice if you ensure everything is working properly. Your best bet would be to locate a donor and get everything including the wiring harness. Keep in mind it may be necessary to pull your door to properly cut the holes and install the boots for the harness.

If you want to really ensure that the windows have adequate power, install a relay kit. This sends +12v directly to the motors and increases performance.

The only place I could find the conduits for the wire from the cab to the door was at LMC Truck, but a good donor vehicle should be able to provide some. buying the stuff via the aftermarket is probably quicker, but searching for some good donors is alot more fun.
