Where can I find original style key blanks for door and ignition for a '71?

Re: Keys

There is a guy in Cali that sometimes has them here on the parts board .You might look back a ways and find him and see if he still has some .Chances are your GM dealer wont have them .

Re: Keys

Lots of choices on eBay. Here's an example for "A" code key blanks.

Just be sure you order the correct coded blank for your locks. For example, my '69 keys are "E" code. I had the local True Value store cut mine. They refused to charge me anything, even though I'd offered to buy one of their blanks.

As stated above, I believe LocDoc also sells them.

Doesn't the door and ignition use the same key?

Harpo is correct, they do use the same key. ('67-'72) GM went to the two key system for the trucks in '73. I do have some OEM blanks.
