Looking for new wheels
I have a 67 C1500 Suburban with 6-lug wheels. I purchased a set of 16" 6-lug steel wheels from a 89 K1500 pickup. These wheels do not fit my truck, the offset is wrong and they are hitting before they can bolt up against the drums.
So I'm wondering which 6 lug wheels I can look for that will fit my truck? I'd like to run a steel wheel that I'm going to paint black and put some wide whites on. Wheels can be either 15" or 16". Thanks, Nick |

Re: Looking for new wheels
I've been reading a little bit more about this. It looks like I can either run a spacer and make these wheels work or make the middle of the wheels larger by opening up the center of the wheel. I guess I need to look at the wheels more and decide what to do from here.

Re: Looking for new wheels
I bought wheels from these guys for my 72 suburban.
https://www.wheelvintiques.com/?gcli...FYJ8fgodboQD0w Great wheels and good price. The best place to buy them is from summit racing.(they ship for cheap) Years later, I lowered my truck with a drop kit and the fronts were too wide so I bought another pair from them and they worked great. You can run stock caps or get corvette rally style and run the rings and caps. |
