Finally found a bumper like I wanted for my truck, but came back with a bit more. In addition to the Elcamino/malibu bumber, I also got a grey splint bench seat and the seat/sholder belts. I originally wanted grey when I first found my blue seat, so you'll be seeing it on the parts board. Good day for me.

Now for Pigeon Forge. look out tennesse the misplaced yankee is on his way!!

The bumper of an elcky is something I was also thinking about doing. Just out of curiosity is a direct bolt on or will you have to do some modification to the origanl brackets?

I got a deal on this seat. Since I been provividing a steady income to the yard lately. I got the seats and belts for $125.

Last time I bought one it cost me $150 for the seat and $25 for the belts

Hey, that's a great idea....the elky bumper that is. I wonder how hard it would be to bolt it up.....

Monteman/68 stepside....New ground on the bumper. It is definitely not a direct bolt in. I saw how some others had it on their trucks and I liked the look. It also allows me to clean up the rear of the stepside bed.

I have to figure out the light hookup and the bumper hook up. You can be assured when I do, it will be posted or available for those who want it.

Don't know about your folks area, but finding an elky or malibu wagon bumper is about as bad as finding a part for our trucks in the yard.

I have already found a couple out here . Was trying to decided on what year I want .I found two different styles mid seventies and early 80's. Keep us posted on how this turns out.

I saw a truck like yours today- it was a '70 and that same green color. Except it had a red hood and cowl.

Greasemonkey.....What's dangerous is I'm actually thinking of staying with the color now that I have the grey seats. Back in July when I got it, I couldn't wait for it to be anything other than that "medium Olive"..

you might want to ask Jwill41 about that elky bumper. i'm pretty sure he put one on his gmc. i think he shortend his though, for a better fit

I got this off a parts truck so it had already been shortened. It has thick plates that slide between the frame rails welded to it. Just slide it in and bolt in place.

I didn't know this was such a popular modification. I had seen a stepside running around Bremerton with a full width bumper on it, so bought one and sectioned it to fit around the box. I wasn't prepared for the $350 to hav it rechromed, but am very happy now. It really does finish the rear of the truck and I'm happier having a bumper than just having a rolled pan. I had to make my own brackets so it is adjustable. Now I just have to hook up the back up lights to the 5 speed. Good luck with yours! Scott
