Anybody tried one of the new 250/292 carbs on eBay?
I ran across new monojet carbs on eBay for around $90. Has anybody tried one of these? It seems cheap enough to give one a shot, unless they known to be junk.

I can say I would not be trying it. You don't have any idea what it was originally engineered to operate on ( it could of been designed to go on a generator that had no requirements to idle or run at different rpms) and does it come with a complete set of jets and spare gaskets? You get what you pay for and carburetors can easily turn into a black hole of frustration quickly. If I needed a new carburetor I would be going with a Daytona for a stockish I-six.
