Bandit is trouble. If we could only get him to poop outside. He will have to figure that out before he gets to ride in the car.

Love these cars, my favorite car of all time. It's great to disturb the peace with that. Love the car can't wait to see more.

Re: My old 69 Camaro

So here is an update. I replaced the Door panels, added new carpet, finished up the Horse shoe shifter and added a new center console. The rear spoiler is new and SS badges are on the way. The Cowl hood is on and the engine is running strong. I welded up a 2.5” crossover exhaust into a pair of Flowmasters. I have been taking small drives as I break in the new 3.90 gears and posi. Next, I’ll adjust shift points with the trany Gov. and adjustable modulator. So far it sounds like a beast and will break the tires loose when it hits gears on the shifts at WOT. I really didn’t expect that. It’s easy to get this car squirrelly.

Re: My old 69 Camaro

Love the car, this compares nothing to your car but if all goes well I will be getting a 82 Camaro Sunday. Keep up the great work.. need more pictures of the car though.

Re: My old 69 Camaro

Thanks for the comments. “Car'n'Guitars” I’d like to see picks of your new ride. I’ll post more pics but I’m not sure what anyone would like to look at. I will paint it in the future at some point but that might be a winter project. It’s time to drive it now.

Re: My old 69 Camaro

All pictures are great, but there is nothing better then driving the car. Here is the car I may be getting but without those horrible rims and tires. Also I don't know if anyone here is interested but I guess Chevrolet may be bringing back the COPO Camaros.

Re: My old 69 Camaro

Nice car. The rims are too gangster for a Camaro. We all missed out on the COPO's. All have been sold already. Price range was $89,000 to $97,000 due to different options. You can read about it in August 2012 HOT ROD. They came with Strange 9 inch 35-spline axles with 4.29 gears. 427 LS7 or blown 327. You, if you are rich and lucky, could have three engines made up with all the same serial numbers matching, built for the car. On top of that, for more coin, GM would let you help build one of the engines. How cool would that have been to do.

Yeah it will be coming with Firebird rims, I only noticed that today because I was looking in GM's Performance Catalog and it shows all the specs for these cars and what you could order for them. What got me on it was that you could get the powerglide transmissions in them.

Yeah exactly I want it just for the Powerglide alone. Here is the link to the catalog that has all the info for it.
