2019 Blazer

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were some better designers out there for the blazer .
If they can make one like this range rover I’d be all in

Thats not a Blazer, it's a rebadged Ford Escape/Edge/Explorer. Or Damn near every other SUV Crossover on the market.

Re: 2019 Blazer

The only thing that's Blazer about that is the name's spelled the same. That Range Rover is a nice car.

Re: 2019 Blazer

Dunno, I'm kind of digging it. Sure, it's not the best looking car by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not the worst either. Maybe I like it because it looks bulky and I like bulky stuff. haha

Re: 2019 Blazer

The real Blazer was only made from 69-75 in my opinion. Unless they are bringing something back with real close similarities (full top) but modern upgrades they should have left the name in the vault (JMHO) This looks like just another cookie cutter suv. They did the same thing to the Nova back in the 80's

Yeah, going all the way back to '75 and a full convertible top would be fantastic. But they already make convertible sports cars for days when the weather is that nice. Just getting back to what they always were, a compact truck, would suit me just fine.

Why would they disgrace the Blazer name and reputation using it on that market following lump? Aren't there any new names left? If they want to sell some SUVs they should think about doing a retro K/5 like Jeep is toying with for their Cherokee Chiefs... which were originally what Jeep came up with trying to get at the Blazer market.

Over and over again. They don't have enough imagination to come up with new names?

And they wonder why customer loyalty isn't what it used to be.

They missed a perfect chance to bring back the Aztek marque.

Re: 2019 Blazer

You just have to know 20 years from now NO one will say "I'd like to restore a 2019 Blazer"..

I am sure they won't. Not with 25-30% of them brand new still in the corners of dealer lots with "Make Offer!!", "WOW!! 11 Miles!!", "Instant Classic!!", and "I'm New!!" on the windshields

Re: 2019 Blazer

Sure they used the name poorly but you have to admire a company that asks $50,000 for a $20,000 piece of crap. That's a lot of gall.

Re: 2019 Blazer

IMO it's not that bad looking of a car but it's just that it needs a different name...
IT'S JUST NOT A BLAZER!
GM really needs to think again and bring back the real blazers.

Re: 2019 Blazer

I actually dig it. It's one of the best looking/most aggressive looking unibody SUV's out there. The interior is pretty cool too (spend a good 15 minutes looking one over at autoshow).

As others have echoed, I think "Trailblazer" would have been a better name for it.
