Re: Die-cast 67-72

I found these at Wal-Mart yesterday. Not sure if they've been out for awhile or not, but I've never seen them. They are 1:87 scale. I have 4 of these and 3 of the 1:64 scale, too.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Ok,
I changed the title to make it OK to list everything.

Special-K,
I think your right it should be for anything that has to do with wheels on it. I have a bunch of the old NASCAR stuff to get out and put on the wall.
Share anything that roll's!!! Great suggestion

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Not Loc Riderz, but made by the same company. I found two of them at one of the two local Walmarts. Sold one here withing minutes of posting for sale.
Here's a packaged pic I took from Wes's thread. Here's a link to it. He had some for sale. . http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=250384

I just looked at that thread and there is another 67 also; white with green and black. First time to see that one.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I have a zillion 1/24 scale diecast banks all stashed.Ok,I exaggerated...more than 500,at least. These were real hot then faded away, almost. They`re still made, but nowhere near as popular.I went to Texacos right after Thankgiving every year, got the Daytona and Sturgis ones before the events.I was on the sucker list of alot of the producers. There was Eastwood, oil companies,ag related, automotive,on and on.They were doing matched sets where there was the regular version and then the short run.Had to get both.I tryed to stick to Chevy vehicles, but you had to get the whole series if you were serious and I did.My next house will have a bar/rec room with a museum of all my stuff.I love opening a box and sliding them out to take a peak at the nice paint they had.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Been working on the wall since the real truck is at the body shop. Got some rare stuff to show you. Well they may not be rare but not everyone will pay the kind of money I did for 4 cars.
These are the Boyd Coddington Collection it took me almost a year to collect the cars that it took to get this collection but I did.

These were membership cars and the Brooks & Dunn cars were given to me at a concert. My brother use to work for them.

Egads!. Nice little truck, but the cost to get them is up there a bit from the $1 I'm used to getting them at. Membership for $25, plus the cost of the truck. I'm sure eventually I'll get one though. I love that color. It's what I've had picked out for my truck for about 20 years now.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I saw those two on ebay and went to check my Paypal balance. When I came back, you had bought them. Nobody else is listing them separately. I guess I'll have to buy the full Wave 5(12 cars/trucks). I collect the 57 Suburbans in that group too.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I just got the Cheyennes and the 57 Suburbans off ebay, from a seller called:diecastwholesale. He has 4 more of each one. They're only $4.99 each. They're listed as Jada High Profile.
Don't have to waste my gas/time going to Wal Mart every couple of days for a while.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I have a request:Could someone please order an extra RLC`69 for me since I`m without plastic until I`m divorced?I expect to pay over the listed price because they are an exclusive and worth more on the secondary market. And,because it costs to be a member which makes them more than the list price to members.

ps:No comments on my custom painted coupe?

So true, Wes has kicked my butt on Ebay more times than I'd like to remember

Of course all will be forgiven if he puts me in line for one of those extra RLC trucks

As far as I know I have em all! And yes I like your custom painted coupe! Some people claim a nice custom is worth more than a Treasure Hunt car due to it being one of a kind. I also have almost all of the 57 Chevy variations except for about two.

Somebody say wrecker. This has the wrecker and 4 other models in it.
Remember a model already built with missing parts is like owning a real truck that you have to find all the parts for.

Yeah, I had a watch on it all week, but I bid as high as I was willing to pay. I was sniped on something else the night before that I was the only bidder for the week on. That one kind of burned me though because I already won another item from the same seller and had to wait three days on this to combine shipping. Goes with the territory I guess. I'll just have to wait for the next one or whenever.

What I typically do is save the images and make a page for a binder I keep with as much info on a toy as I can find. Then when funds are available and I can find the things I'm looking for, I'll bid. That new RLC and the treasure hunts, in the binder. Some Hwy 61's, in the binder. Those stamped tin factory trucks for each of the truck plants, in the binder.

Now that we have this thread going, maybe I'll post a couple things I'm looking for. Some people might have extras, especially for some of the more vintage items.
