Hey Wynne, thanks for sharing the great pics!
Just curious what setup you used on your suspension? Btw, I love the tailight gas filler! I assume you have no problem pumping gas into it? thanks

Up front I have the original springs with 2.5 drop spindles.('73-'80 style)
In the rear I have 4" drop springs. I have some 1/2" lowering blocks that I'm thinking about adding to the rear though.
The fuel filler works pretty good, at some pumps I can fill it wide open, and others I have to slow it down, but it only takes 3 or 4 minutes to fill up. I think it's because my filler vent and tank vent isn't quite enough to vent out that much air quick enough. (3/8" fuel lines)

Thanks for the info on the drop. I was thinking you were a little lower than that up front. Anyway it looks great. I really need to do my gas filler like yours.

Re: HuggerCST's '70 SWB CST build

I agree, it does look like it has been lowered more than that up front, but I think the springs have settled over the years.

Then I dissasembled and changed the color of my dash to match the seats, swapped out the column and steering wheel, and just got a few minor things cleaned up and finished. I tried to install my windshield, but my help cracked it for me. Oh well, now I'll just get the glass company to come out and put a new one in. Then I tried to put in my rear glass, but my rubber seal was split. Hopefully it will start coming together soon.
A friend of mine just gave me a steering wheel exactly like yours except for its Black rubber instead of wood... Its missing the horn button and kit... Do you remember where you got yours??

I got it from one of the Camaro/Chevelle parts vendors, but I can't remember which one. It's the same as a car kit though.

That was my other question. He was going to use it on his 67 camaro. So the hub he gave me with it should fit my 72 then?

Thanks for the answers,
Brett

P.S. Your pickup looks sweet. I was actually going to go with 18's and now after seeing yours I'm thinking about going 17's.... Do u have any thoughts on that??

Yes, it should work fine. On the wheels you just have to go with what you like, but I've been considering buying new wheels in the near future, and thinking that I would go with 18s. I also like the 18/20 combo, but it's just personal preference.
