Got 2 burbs need advice

I just wrecked my 96 burb by way of losing brakes while driving. The ebake brought me down to about 10 MPH before I went through a retaining wall. Thank GOD I didn't hurt anyone. The engine and trans are ok as far as I know. Same as interior and body. I really messed up the front end underneith As a result, I don't know if I want it. My other burb is a 94 3/4 that is pretty sound but milage is horrible and the 454 TBI seems to be a tired, gutless wonder. Should I consider putting the vortec into the 94 and just use a TBI setup on the top? Or is that stupid? I'd really like to avoid this ODB2 thing. My wife really needs a family car(mini van is not a option). What do you guys think?

family of how big? is the wrecked one driveable? why not take the stuff you need from the 454 and put them on your wrecked one? scrap or part out the 454 one and buy a blazer or another burb if one can be had
