69 K10 Transmission Question

I am about to start a build on a 69 K10. This will be a daily driver. I would like swap out the old bulldog 4 speed transmission & transfer case for a 5 speed manual and transfer case. This will bolted to early model 350 sbc engine. Which 5 speed and transfer case should I be looking for? Thanks in advance.

Re: 69 K10 Transmission Question

My idea. Keep the "Bulldog" put on a 4" lift with 35" tires. I assume 4.10s. Run the hell out of it. Hypothetical... you throw a rod through the block. Get another 350.... and run the hell out of it. You save bucks. Your truck is setup from the factory to run/haul/tow.

The mussing's of a cheap lazy old bugger!
