1961 Apache finally runs

Finally got my 61 Apache up and running again. Spent the 70 bucks and got an hei for it and put a clean tank in it and she fired up. Put a valve cover gasket on it, found an air cleaner for it, new heater hoses, going to go through the brakes next and then lights and such. Had a question though, there’s some wires running through where the dome light wires would run but go out through a hole in the floor I’m front of the tank with a little metal cover over it....what do they do? Lol they’re cut right under the cab so I’m but just to figure them out. Last picture is what I’m talking about. Thanks

Was the rear turn signal light still optional in 61?
Something was saying that was the original route for the backup lamps wires. Generally back up lamp wires are light green. Where do the go in the cab? Light harness?

Looking in the 61 shop manual , so far pink and blue side by side , no mention.

It’s got a regular turn signal switch on the column. I was thinking that’s what they were for, being the turns and brake lights
