Re: 66 Suburban from ID

Also every Tuesday in the summer my friend DJ's at Shakeys Pizza in Spokane. There are some nice cars that show up every week there. It would be pretty cool to have a 4-5 truck group roll in there.

Sweet Burb! Sounds 99% complete to me! Hope you can bring it over to the Boise area for a car show or two in 2013! I have been dreaming for a long time of doing a 64-66 burb, no holds-barred, every trick in the book and then some... Love the interior on your rig! Keep us updated man! -JD

Lake City Powder Coating 664-9485. They're just down the street from my shop. Excellent work and good prices.

I take everything to Lake City. They don't call when it's done so you have to check back with them after a few days but thats ok.

I think ill wait to powder coat the steel wheels, ran across some tires for my torq thrust 2's for super reasonable mounted and balanced, the bad part is the wheels don't clear the center bore so instead if using spacers I'm going to machine the wheel centers instead

I don't think those are going to match yours. Send them out to me and I will see how they look on mine for some motivation to get it put together.

They are actually not bad at all and feel like they should be there, I'd almost like to put a 60/40 bench of the same style in instead, but ya never know lol

Re: 66 Suburban from ID

20 yrs ago when I did my 62 panel I found seats out of a 89 sedan deville. 60 40.and they fill the space pretty good. I need to find different base's, I used astro van tin base's and they are to tall.

Re: 66 Suburban from ID

You must have got the wheel centers machined?

Did you take it out for a spin?

Got the centers all done but didnt get to take it for a spin, I either need some 1/4 in spacers and put longer studs in the rear or get some adapters to push the wheels out a little because the wheels are riding against the inner fenders
