Re: 1.6 ratio rocker arms

They fit and work perfect............ You have /should enlarge the pushrod holes in the heads though and run guide plates which i have done the mods to go along with my lt1 cam. My only concern is will they fit under stock steel valve covers without spacers. I want stock appearence as possible.

Re: 1.6 ratio rocker arms

I haven't run my 327 with them, but my machinist chose the parts and put my LT1 aluminum valve covers on. He wouldn't have if there would be clearance issues.

Re: 1.6 ratio rocker arms

They don't look tall to me. I can measure. I think tall valve covers are an aftermarket think

Yes, I have used them on multiple SBC engines without guides. Will they work on your engine? What are the details? Cam specs, valve springs, ect. They should work, but details will determine the correct answer.

I have used 1.6 rockers under stock valve covers. Never used an lt1 cam, but have used comp cams.
