Post Twin fan cooled radiator

I am thinking of going to twin electric fans on my suburban. I even remember one site offering a twin fan cowling.

What I want to know is does it do the job under load in the middle of the summer. It seems like a twin fan setup should do better as far as cooling.

The Baker grade heading north from LA to Las Vegas is a killer when I am coming home from Pamona.

Thanks
Mike

Something like this?

Someone on the 67-72 board sells a complete fabricated mounting kit.
