12" Lift with 44" tires. I think its cool when you have to do a pull up to get into trucks.

I agree on that lift. But it all depends on what sort of off-roading your going to be doing as well as budget and type/year etc on the truck. Are you looking for a rock crawler or a bogger, or just somethign you can show off to buddies and impress dates with how muddy the sum***** gets? Let me know and i'll give you some things i know of.

I want this truck to be big, street legal, and DEFINETELY be able to show up my friends. BUT im on a small budget. My trucks a 1994 GMC Sierra 4X4 2dr. I want 4-6" lift and big tires but for as CHEAP as possible.

Well most IFS systems you are gonna find arent gonna be that cheap i'm afraid. I was jsut looking and you can find a 4" kit for around 1200 or so. a 6" kit will probly set you back about 1600 from what i see. With that much lift you'll probably be able to go with i think 35" tires? Correct me if i'm wrong here guys. IFS sure rides nice and is fun to have wehn off-roading sometimes but heck it's hard to deal with for lifting junk, just complicates. If you want a body lift for like 2-3" of lift you can get away with that for about 100-150 i think. New rear shackles and maybe a leav spring in the rear would put yer butt in the air but the front end is the hard part man. Hope this helps some. Cheapest way for you now would be simply the body lift but that alters your center of gravity so be careful...
My 2 cents

Dude,

Ditch the IFS!! Chevy spent to much money on a suspension that doesn't work off road. Plus, to lift any IFS is very $$$$$$$!! You need a to buy a truck that has a live front axle. Live axles flex better and easy to work on. Plus, it won't cost you a arm and a leg to lift. Hope this helps!! Rock on people!!!!
