I just bought this blazer and the shipper told me it needs to be under 6 foot 8. it has a 6 inch lift with 35 12.50 tires http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

The listing has been removed. However, my '75 Blazer with a 4" lift and worn out 35's barely fit through a 7' garage door (you actually had to hold the door open to clear the windshield post with the top off). I think you will have to drastically air down the tires to get it that low, if it will work.

Can't see the listing as it has been removed.

My truck with 35's, and 4" of lift is roughly 80"-83" tall. Might want to see about sticking a set of donuts on it, or go another shipping route.

Re: how tall do you think my blazer is for shippng

I had to air down quite a bit to fit my blazer with 6 inch lift and 35s into a 6 foot 10 inch garage door.
I used to have a tiny set of tires for that purpose also.

Altec's right, you might get lucky if the seller can put some smaller wheel's/tires on it for shipping with a minimal amount of air in the tires. You'll have to get the height measurements from the seller to know what you're working with though. Otherwise, yes, you might have to go with an alternate shipping method/carrier.

Re: how tall do you think my blazer is for shippng

my blazer with 35 boggers on it an a 6 inch front leaf sits right around 7ft add a inch or so maybe but my blazer also sits high in the back due to a custom shackle flip so yours probbly sits a couple inches lower in the rear. if nothing else tell them to put it on trailer then take tires off an put them inside of it

Re: how tall do you think my blazer is for shippng

fwiw i just shipped my K5 from Florida to Hawaii (free military move). It was on a tractor trailer from Florida to Cali, and then was put on a boat at the port. The reason I mention this, was they had to measure the cubic footage of my rig before putting it on the trailer. The limit without paying an "over-sized penalty" was 800 cubic feet. My K5 with a 6" lift and 35's came in at 765 cubic ft.....I assume that most trailer companies are the same so maybe you'll be saved by the short length of the K5 like I was. It was an open multi-car trailer if it helps any. Good luck
